Your starting point

How to begin

Yesepe is designed to be accessible from the first day. Here is everything you need to know about how the course is structured and what to expect.

What you receive

Everything in the course

01

Four core modules

Each module addresses one major financial behavior pattern: saving and scarcity, generosity and giving, avoidance and denial, control and security. Modules are sequential and self-contained.

02

Structured reflection exercises

Each module contains a multi-part written exercise. Questions are specific and sequenced to move from surface observations to deeper associations. You will need a notebook or a document to write in.

03

Daily practice steps

After each module, a set of daily steps gives you specific, manageable actions for the week ahead. These are behavioral experiments, not demands. They are designed to be tried, not perfected.

04

Background reading

Each module opens with accessible context from behavioral finance and developmental psychology research. This reading frames the reflection that follows and gives you vocabulary for what you observe.

Money conversations with partners or family members tend to become tense or charged.

You avoid looking at your finances even when you know you should.

You feel anxiety, guilt, or shame around spending or saving that seems disproportionate to your circumstances.

How to prepare

Set aside uninterrupted time

The reflection exercises work best when you are not rushed. Plan for at least an hour for your first session. Find a quiet space where you can write honestly without interruption.

Have something to write in

A physical notebook tends to work well for this kind of reflection. A digital document works equally well. The medium matters less than the act of writing, which externalizes your thinking in useful ways.

Approach with openness

The course asks you to revisit memories and emotions that may carry some charge. There are no wrong answers. The exercises are designed to be productive even when they feel uncomfortable.

Plan your pacing

One module per week is a natural rhythm for most participants. This gives you time to complete the reflection, apply the daily steps, and let the material settle before moving to the next module.
